1 · Who these terms are between

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between:

• Big Lap Events ("we", "us", "our") — ABN 59 768 056 794, operating at biglapevents.com.au, based in Western Australia, Australia
• You — any person who accesses or uses the Big Lap Events website or service

By accessing our website, creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription.

2 · What we provide

Big Lap Events is an online event guide providing curated listings of Australian events for travellers, grey nomads and caravanners. Our service includes:

• A searchable, filterable calendar of upcoming Australian events across four categories: country shows, music festivals, 4WD and outback events, and country horse racing
• Event details including dates, locations, entry prices and links to official event websites and ticketing platforms
• Filtering by state/territory and event category
• Downloadable PDF event calendars (paid subscribers)
• A monthly email digest of upcoming events (opted-in subscribers)
• Event organiser listing management (paying organisers)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the service at any time with reasonable notice to subscribers.

3 · Subscription plans

Big Lap Events offers the following plans:

Plan features may be updated from time to time. Existing subscribers will be notified of any material changes to what their plan includes.

4 · Payment, billing and GST

Pricing

• The Nomad Pass subscription is $29.00 AUD per year
• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD)
• Prices include GST (Goods and Services Tax) where applicable under Australian law
• We will display a GST-inclusive receipt for every transaction

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed annually on the date of purchase
• Your subscription will auto-renew each year unless you cancel before the renewal date
• You will receive a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before your renewal date
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you by email and attempt to process the payment again. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account will revert to the Free Explorer plan until payment is resolved.

5 · Refund and cancellation policy

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@biglapevents.com.au
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual billing period — you retain full access until then
• We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of an annual subscription period
• Cancellation of an organiser listing is subject to the organiser listing agreement

Refunds

We do not offer refunds on annual subscriptions except where required under the Australian Consumer Law. If our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee — for example, if it does not function as described — you are entitled to a remedy. Contact us at support@biglapevents.com.au and we will assess your request fairly and promptly.

6 · Event accuracy and disclaimer

Events may be:

• Cancelled, postponed or relocated without notice
• Changed in price or ticketing arrangements
• Incorrectly dated due to AI generation limitations
• Listed with outdated website or ticketing URLs

You must always verify event details directly with the event organiser or official event website before making travel arrangements, booking accommodation, purchasing tickets, or incurring any expense related to attending an event.

Big Lap Events takes no responsibility for any loss, expense, inconvenience or disappointment arising from reliance on event information displayed on our platform.

7 · Acceptable use

By using Big Lap Events, you agree not to:

• Share, resell or distribute your subscription access to other people
• Scrape, copy or systematically extract event data from our platform for commercial use
• Use the service to spam, harass or send unsolicited communications to event organisers
• Attempt to circumvent any access restrictions, paywalls or security measures
• Submit false, misleading or defamatory information as an event organiser
• Use the platform in any way that violates Australian law or the rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these conditions without refund.

8 · Intellectual property

The Big Lap Events name, logo, website design, layout, code and original written content are owned by Big Lap Events (ABN 59 768 056 794) and protected under Australian copyright law.

You may:

• Download and print PDF event guides for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning
• Share event information informally with fellow travellers (e.g. in caravan park conversations or social media posts) with attribution to Big Lap Events

You may not:

• Reproduce, republish or redistribute our event listings commercially without written permission
• Rebrand or resell our content as your own
• Use our name or logo without prior written consent

Event information itself (names, dates, locations) is factual and not subject to copyright, but our curation, design and presentation of that information is protected.

9 · Event organiser listings

Event organisers may claim and enhance their listing on Big Lap Events for a fee of $99 AUD per year per listing. By submitting an organiser listing, you:

• Confirm that you are an authorised representative of the event
• Warrant that all information provided is accurate and not misleading
• Grant Big Lap Events a licence to display your event information, logo and images on our platform
• Agree to promptly notify us of any changes to event details (cancellation, date changes, etc.)

Big Lap Events reserves the right to refuse or remove any organiser listing that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive or otherwise inappropriate, with or without refund at our discretion.

Organiser listings are non-transferable and relate to a specific event or event series.

10 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

• Big Lap Events is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — for most users, this is $29.00 AUD
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages including lost profits, travel costs, accommodation costs or any costs arising from reliance on event information

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement. See Section 11.

11 · Australian Consumer Law

Our service comes with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded. If our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy.

For digital subscription services, consumer guarantees include that the service:

• Is provided with acceptable care and skill
• Is fit for the purpose we said it would be fit for
• Provides what we said it would provide

If you believe we have failed to meet a consumer guarantee, contact us first at support@biglapevents.com.au. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au or the WA Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (Consumer Protection) at commerce.wa.gov.au/consumer-protection.

12 · Termination of accounts

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@biglapevents.com.au.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Breach these Terms of Service
• Use the service in a fraudulent or illegal manner
• Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls
• Provide false information when registering or as an organiser

In the event of termination by us for a breach, no refund will be issued. In the event of termination by us for reasons other than a breach, a pro-rata refund of your remaining subscription period will be provided.

13 · Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify all active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
• Post a notice on the Big Lap Events home page

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date and receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining period. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14 · Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve any dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly by emailing support@biglapevents.com.au.
